# noust context

Save and choose the servers this machine operates through their API.

```bash
noust context [OPTIONS] COMMAND [ARGS]...
```

Subcommands: [`add`](#noust-context-add), [`current`](#noust-context-current), [`list`](#noust-context-list), [`remove`](#noust-context-remove), [`use`](#noust-context-use), [`verify`](#noust-context-verify)

## noust context add

Save a server.

```bash
noust context add [OPTIONS] NAME
```

Arguments: `name`

| Option | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|
| `--url` | The server's address, such as https://noust.example.com. |  |
| `--token` | Keep the token in a private file of its own, read from standard input (-), a file (@FILE) or a variable (env:NAME). Never the token itself. | |
| `--token-file` | A private file that already holds the token. |  |
| `--token-env` | A variable that holds the token. |  |
| `--ca-file` | Trust this certificate authority. |  |
| `--use` | Also make it the server commands run on. | |
| `--reason` | Why this change is made (a change reference, a ticket). Recorded with the command in the audit log; required only where a compliance framework asks for it (ENS) or security.change_reasons is on. | |

## noust context current

Print the server commands run on, or say they run here.

```bash
noust context current [OPTIONS]
```

| Option | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|
| `--reason` | Why this change is made (a change reference, a ticket). Recorded with the command in the audit log; required only where a compliance framework asks for it (ENS) or security.change_reasons is on. | |

## noust context list

List the saved servers, marking the one in use.

```bash
noust context list [OPTIONS]
```

| Option | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|
| `--json` | Print the contexts as JSON. |  |
| `--reason` | Why this change is made (a change reference, a ticket). Recorded with the command in the audit log; required only where a compliance framework asks for it (ENS) or security.change_reasons is on. | |

## noust context remove

Forget a saved server, and the token file this tool kept for it.

```bash
noust context remove [OPTIONS] NAME
```

Arguments: `name`

| Option | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|
| `--reason` | Why this change is made (a change reference, a ticket). Recorded with the command in the audit log; required only where a compliance framework asks for it (ENS) or security.change_reasons is on. | |

```bash
noust context use [OPTIONS] NAME
```

Arguments: `name`

| Option | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|
| `--reason` | Why this change is made (a change reference, a ticket). Recorded with the command in the audit log; required only where a compliance framework asks for it (ENS) or security.change_reasons is on. | |

## noust context verify

Check that a saved server answers and the token is accepted.

```bash
noust context verify [OPTIONS] [NAME]
```

Arguments: `name`

| Option | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|
| `--json` | Print the answer as JSON. |  |
| `--reason` | Why this change is made (a change reference, a ticket). Recorded with the command in the audit log; required only where a compliance framework asks for it (ENS) or security.change_reasons is on. | |
